Readers Wives

Readers Wives - BrazenBooks

I have a considerable amount of "Readers' Wives" titles from the late 1980s and early 1990s, which I am going to start listing over at BrazenBooks. "Readers' Wives" from the 80s and 90s, in my opinion, are just so much better than nowadays, where everything is more polished and produced. I certainly prefer the more amateur feel that these magazines have. It is worth considering that if your wife or girlfriend wanted to show off all of her hidden treasures, then the "Readers' Wives" sections or complete magazines devoted to just that were one way of showcasing yourself. We have to remember that internet access at home was not generally available until later in the 1990s, and even then, it was pretty limited. Nowadays, it is all too easy to set up an OnlyFans, Facebook, or Tumblr account and away you go. I have lots to choose from, and I am not going to list them all at once; it's going to take me months. If you like "Readers' Wives" magazines, be sure to keep checking BrazenBooks for newly added stock. Most of the stock I have is ex-retail and never been owned, with me having, in some instances, multiple copies of each title and number.

Girls Of The World

Girls Of The World - Top Sellers Ltd UK

"Girls Of The World" - I don’t know much about these magazines and books beyond the occasional date present, but from browsing through them, they seem to be from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Overall, they are quite appealing. They feature a mix of colour and black-and-white pictures, with most being full-page images, while the text focuses on information about the models and is not overpowering. The printing quality and paper are both very good. From what I have, I've noticed two publishers, with the main one being Top Sellers Ltd in London. Additionally, there are some from Export Publications USA that bear a striking resemblance in style and content.

I have six original magazines and five special thick books that seem to be compilations of the original magazines. Treat yourself - You won't be disappointed. Available now at BrazenBooks.

Rogue

Rogue - Greenleaf Publishing USA

Rogue stood as a direct rival to Playboy, the groundbreaking 1960s American publication known for its tasteful presentation of female nudity and sexually themed content. It catered to a male readership with its mix of nude and partially clothed images.

A small selection of Rogue magazines has been added to BrazenBooks. The majority are in good condition and are priced to sell. Feel free to compare prices on eBay to see the value they can fetch.

Fiesta - Russell Gay and Galaxy Publications.

Fiesta 1970s - Available BrazenBooks

On sale are a few copies of Fiesta from the very early 1970s. I am certainly a fan of these large format magazines from the 1970s. I can't work out if that's because they are just so familiar, and you can remember them from the heady days of your youth. To me, they are just so much more interesting than a lot of the books that are around nowadays. They were less in your face and more about the tease and what might be. Each to their own. Loads more books from the 1960s, '70s, and '80s to come. Link to Fiesta BrazenBooks.
