One of the iconic models in the ToCo stables; one of the so-called Bearsden girls – that is the group of models, all Scottish, who were photographed by J.B Fullarton from his studio in Bearsden, a suburb of Glasgow (see notes in History).

Jane was a red-headed Scot from Glasgow. When she was not working as a secretary, she had the unusual job of selling embroidered wallpaper and was an avid football fan, supporting Glasgow Rangers.

She said she preferred tights with a mini and stockings with a midi. She was another of the team featured several times wearing directoire knickers – for those who like that kind of thing. One of her most famous features was her apparent grumpiness in front of the camera – which made the occasional smile even more heart-melting. Jane was one of the most prolific of the Bearsden lassies and was in decades of ToCo publications
